The Ladies Circle has planned three events which will take place in February and March.     The first event is a ‘blood run’ that will take place on Wednesday, 16 February.  They are inviting all charity organizations and individuals to join them in achieving between 30 and 40 units of blood.  Help them to help the blood bank.     The second event, the annual raft race, will take place on Saturday, 26 February, at the Douglas Dam.  Entry fees are R360 per team, with a team consisting of six members per raft.  The raft judging will start at 09:00,and the race starting at 10:00.     For the third event they are inviting all willing community members to help them clean the cemetery.  This will take place during March, with the date to be published in the Highveld Tribune next month.  Anybody with lawn mowers and garden tools, who is willing to get their hands dirty, is invited to join them.  Contact Uzanne at 072 765 5689 for more information.  MS
