Jews tombstones vandalized
Press Release: It was discovered in the early morning hours of 22 July, by the cemetery workers and superintend of Parks and Cemeteries, Mr AB Mngomezulu, that 35 head tombstones were vandalized in the cemetery along Oosthuise Street. Three of the head tombstones out of 35 are missing, whereas the rest are badly damaged and flattened to the ground. The motive of the flattening of the tombstones is not yet known, but the matter was reported to the Ermelo SAPS and a case was opened for further investigation.
