Two Belgian men, Ludovic and Samuel Daxhelet, are participating in the Pekin Express and stayed overnight at a family in Ermelo on Saturday night.     The Pekin Express is a reality show from French TV and is similar to The Amazing Race.    This race started on 7 January in Egypt and will end on 23 February in Cape Town.  It takes place in countries such as Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Lesotho and South Africa.  This is a 10 000km journey which the finalist must complete, while they are only allowed to hitchhike from one town to the next.  At the stage when Ludovic and Samuel was in Ermelo they were in second place.  On Sunday they had to hitchhike from Ermelo to Amersfoort, then to Charlestown and they ended in Newcastle.  Ludovic and Samuel was first to arrive in Newcastle and ended up in first place on Sunday.  There were five teams still left in the game on Saturday and the last team to arrive in Newcastle was disqualified.  The Highveld Tribune wishes them all the luck in the upcoming challenges that they still have to complete.  MS
